Ok, so there are 4 people now that have expressed the script is easy to upgrade (counting me would make 5), and one that has not (MGS).
On any script, if you do a lot of changes to templates, the work can be meticulous when doing an upgrade. One thing I will point out on this forum that is problematic is the multi-quote function does not seem to work correctly. This would be an example of a template issue.
One thing I really do like about vbulletin's template system (there are things I don't like too) is in the admin they list templates that have changed, and might need examination. I hope in the future to come up with a tool that searches for all code that should be included similar to what vbulletin does to make it even easier to find changes.
Right now, we publish the changes on our forum.
MGS, if you have any specific suggestions of how we could make the upgrade process easier, please let me know, as I would be glad to try to make it a reality if it is possible to create a workable plan.

Always nice to see you rally the troops around David, back to business after the xmas period heh. Four people (you don't really have much of a clue so I'm told?) against how many thousands who've tried the script? As said in my reply on another thread I'd bet my bottom dollar that its only easy if you know how and not many of us do.
I only pointed out a fact and you think I'm being malicious? I hope you continue to do well on your script, your up against it with better scripts out there but I'll still support you but in a 100% honest way without misleading people into buying your script thinking its going to be plain sailing. People deserve to know the truth and that's a duty I care to take on, I'm sure as an honest man yourself you have no objections to me doing so even if at some times the truth isn't what you want to hear?

Ok, I will agree with you that it is a point of fact that you have shared your opinion, and also a point of fact that not all share your opinion. I also have nothing malicious or intentionally misleading to say here. My main point is that there are differences in the interpretation of the facts.

LoL; some people baffle with science, some baffle other ways. Fact is I'm correct and because I don't need to rely on an income from any script I don't have to muddy the waters with half facts, I give it in clarity.
Have a good un,

It is a fact you believe you are correct.
It is also a fact that others here and elsewhere have expressed phpLD was easy for them to upgrade.

lmao; You think your a psychologist now David? It's a fact you think that phpld is a good safe script but maybe it isn't as someone questioned a few days ago so maybe we're both delusional!
Give it a break and just concede that ANYTHING in life is easy but ONLY IF YOU KNOW HOW! By you trying to convince anyone otherwise makes you look desperate to either con people into buying the script or just desperate to beat me in an argument you claimed you weren't even in!

Psychology would be more about human emotions.
I am talking more about logical thinking.
Yes, indeed. With anything, you have to learn how. And with phpLD, many have learned how to upgrade, and often people are able to complete their upgrade in one hour on the first try. In other words, they followed the instructions and "learned how", and found the experience easy.
Words like "delusional", "con" and "desperate" are more used in your vocabulary, not mine. I know very little about you, except what you demonstrate here on the forum, and this is where is where I take issue. It is nothing personal, and I do hope you will have a New Year filled with happiness and love in your life.

Thanks for the thoughts, did you type them after sticking needles in an effagy of me? Psychology is not just about emotion its about logical thinking as well, cognitive mapping is like learning where to put snippets of code, remembering where they go etc, but you need to 'recognise' these codes first.
Nice to see you finally agree with the simple point I was making, You DO NEED KNOWLEDGE to upgrade. It was all I was asking after all.

Ok, I'll take that answer.
And now I'll put the voodoo doll back in the drawer.
