Im new to online directories and out of necessity have had to study and try a whole bunch of them recently. Got scammed by an owner down California way and eventually ended up at PhpLynx's door via almost every script from freebess to the high end $400 stuff

So I guess I will be playing with their code in the future. See there are a whole bunch of them here as well.

Quickest way to find these is to Google "free business directory software". One script which is very nice is malaysian, C97 ,but they dont support it any more and I am not a programmer and need lots of help n the setup initially.

I found lots of info at hotscripts.com in the PHP section. Another neat package is Miniweb 2.0 Portal System. His script is super fast and beautifully easy to use. Not free but the interface is just sweet. $39.50 . Beware his 30 day money back guarantee doesn't exist .Had to threaten to sue him before I got 50% back. I just wish they would sort that program out properly because it would wipe the competition out . Takes about 90 secs to add a client and install a mini site
