You see it happening, many people complaining that their sites have dropped PR, wouldn't that be considered a update? I would say so, if sites are seeing changes, it would be a update, whether your PR is rising or dropping, it is updating. Can anybody show me where Google states that all PR updates will be positive?

All my inner pages picked up PR 4 from 0 on the last update. I have a relatively new directory site but I've been promoting like mad. So not everyone's PR went down.

I've seen heavily promoted directories with 0 inner page rank. They advertise their site as a PR 5 or whatever. That's the home page. Then site owner goes on and pays for a page listing that has 0 page rank and I assume many don't know it. It's misleading is it not?

Yes it is and one of my pet hates.

My Directory has gone from a PR0 to PR4, catagories PR3-4 subcatagories 3-2 and the first couple of listing pages PR1. My directory is about a year old and have done no SEO, linking, etc whatsoever. Needless to say im dead chuffed

One of my sites has gone down from PR4 to PR2. However it is still on page #1 of SERPS for the main search term. Other sites seem unaffected, or have increased PR.
