What is considered a good visitor rate?

Just wondering what you would be considered a good unique visitor rate to a directory per day? I'm currently getting between 500-700 per day.

Good/bad?

Any visitor is good, you'll find when starting up you'll get a load of fake visits, by this I mean webmasters from other directories looking to get a free listing. This novely will wear off so keep adding content.

That is a good visitor count and I wish I had that many to my directories! I currently get about 100-250 unique visitors a day but I think that might be because I need to find more places to announce my directories and that is why I started looking for directory forums... and here I am!

Creating free listings just for those who need backlinks is a pretty thin business model.

There are likely hundreds of these sites launched each day.

I created over 200 pages of content. Before I even opened my directory. Now I really have a competitive advantage.

If you are clever you can get much of you content via public domain... just spice it up.

Visitor rate not matters,what matters is that people are impressed with
your site or not are they becoming paid members or sponsored links in your directory or not.

The number of hits should be viewed with regard to the price final product is it a car or a house or a low ticket item. High ticket items like a house lower traffice would be acceptable.
