I paid $7.95 for the domain for 1 year (on auto renew) and hosting provided by a very good friend of mine which is for free.
Cool - Where did you get the domain from? Have you made any profits? I am sure you have though.

Cheers

I spend a few hundred a month, so far it has been that profitable, but things are starting to pick up now. I look more towards the long term then short term. Like any other business it can take time before you start to make nothing but profit off our directory. The key is to just be cool and if you are doing the right things the money will come.

I pay $6 a year for my domains and $2.65 a month for hosting on each and I profit each month from them all.

I pay ~$8 a year for the domain and the hosting is for multiple sites so I think it cost me less than $1 for hosting per month.

If that was my only expenses then I made profit but now I cycling my profit back into advertising so no profit anymore. I'm hope the adds will have a good ROI.

The truth is I don't expect to make much until the next PR update and I will probably spend more than I make in the next few months to make sure I get some good PR on the update. A bit of a risk cause I have a feeling directories are going to get smashed in the next update (i hope not).

Let's see. $8 for domain yearly + the hosting fee, $10. I promoted mine up to PR5 for free.

After than I started to invest money. So far, I think I must have spent over $100 for buying links and such. I have earned more than $700 so far. But no profit while the PR was 0.

I couldn't invest any because I wasn't earning. Glad I could invest some now here and there.
