Probably every American is getting hurt by it if truth be known, me I'm enjoying the benefits as the pound is so strong at the minute, 26 year all time high I hear.

yeah, I'm hurt double, not only dollar falling also Thai Baht rising ... more then 25% difference in the last year

Yes, most of us are not liking the $ falling. Not good for many reasons.
As for the Thai Baht...I hear your pain there too LinkPopularity...I own property in Thailand (Bangkok) and spend at least a month a year in Thailand for vacation. My "vacation dollars" are dimenshing fast with the rising Baht value and lessened dollar.

Your in Phuket. Very beautiful there. I was just there a few months ago. Glad to see most of the damage from the tsunami is pretty much all gone except in the most remote areas'islands.

I think the dollar is gonna recover the lost ground - just a matter of time

We can get a bear market rally in the greenback at anytime because pessimism/short interest is so high . If you look back to 1985 when the dollar was it's strongest in the last 25 years, the US was a creditor nation. We are now the biggest debtor nation on the planet - and the fed is printing $ like it is going out of style. So on a secular basis, there is no fundamental reason for the start of a multi year bull market.
