ultimat...it surely will not hurt your PR however you might want to do some shopping around for good listing deals. There are plenty of good PR sites that sell inclusion/listings for a lot less than some of the big boys. just my 2cents!

Hi Tc,

congrats on being the new forum owner

I struggle finding the time to sort out the decent directories, but I have to get some quality links to my site to keep up with my competition. I like the sites that offer multiple links back, so that I can link to deep pages and I prefer sites that charge a one off fee rather than a yearly fee, but these can be difficult to find.

I'll have to spend more time looking, I guess

Always a good place to look is either at the:

Info Vilesilencer pay for inclusion list:
Paid Directory List - Info Vilesilencer

or the

Directory Critic's pay for inclusion list:
Paid Directory List - Directory Critic

Hope that helps...:-)

Thanks ultimatehandyman!

It can be difficult to find the decent directories. There are so many. The links do definitely help with building the PR of a site..no doubt.

Spending a bit of time evaluating the different Dirs along with the pricing structures can be a time consuming and otherwise laborious task....but it should pay off in the long run.

The only real difference is that I have a different title and will still be here and TC will be driving the car with us moderators and the like being the engine.

Yup, hey good luck on your exams!
I actually detest exams and tests and those crappy quizzes things, creeps me out.

As it is coming up for Google to actually post any changes in the PageRank bar on your browser and you having only just submitted to these directories for inclusion you'll need to wait until the next up date before knowing whether listing with these directories has help or not.

Although I wouldn't put all my hopes on just these few directories. Instead continue building on getting quality link partners along with keeping your sites updated and offering you visitors a good experience while browsing your sites.

Thanks
